PMKCA'S OFFICERS & COMMITTEES
Committees & Chairs
PMKCA has organized a variety of committees to address community needs and interests. PMKCA also actively supports our members who participate in other teams (e.g., CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and Volunteer Fire Company 8A) which provide important services to our communities. Here is a list of our committees and supported teams, their Chairs and contact information.

Communication & Publicity

This committee is concerned with PMKCA’s communications to our communities and elsewhere. Members maintain the PMKCA.org website and its content, produce the monthly newsletters and send out information and alerts to the PMKCA mailing list.

Community Concerns

Dianne keeps an eye on our community, its residents and their concerns, and advises the rest of the Board.

Community Emergency Response Team

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) is a volunteer organization certified by the county Civil Defense agency. The committee is affiliated with PMKCA which supports its activities. CERT's members are trained in rescue and medical support techniques and are prepared to provide critical local support to the community in times of declared emergencies.

County Water

This committee is concerned with the delivery and quality of our county-supplied water resources, distribution lines and infrastructure. It interfaces with county agencies to deal with problems or be notified of events affecting services.

Invasive Species

This committee coordinates with county agencies and non-profit organizations to evaluate invasive species threats to our community and to educate our residents on proven methods of identification and control.

Kalōpā Park Team

These volunteers work within our wonderful and unique Kalōpā State Park to maintain native and Polynesian gardens, remove invasive species and assist other agencies that are keeping the park as a model for mauka forest ecosystems.
